Beauté Minéral pledges that if and when labeling an ingredient as "natural", the ingredient will fit the Natural Ingredient Resource Center (NIRC) Criteria for natural ingredients. We also pledge that if and when labeling products using the term "natural", the products will be labeled according to the Natural Ingredient Resource Center Guidelines for labeling natural products. We love animals, and we do not want any animal suffer in the name of "beauty". At Beauté Minéral, we NEVER test our products on any kind of animals, and that's the principle that we stand by. Furthermore we do not use any suppliers who test their products or materials on animals*.

Most of our products are vegan -- made without ingredients derived from animals. We do use carmine and lanolin in a few products (a few Alluring Eyes Eye Colors and Luscious Lips Moisturizing Stick with Vitamin E). For that, we are thankful to those animals (and insects). We are working to reformulate these products with plant-based alternatives.

And we are going to total guilt-free brushes! Yes, we are switching to synthetic bristle brushes, because we really want to make sure no animal was being hurt for our brushes, and the only way to be sure is not to use any animal hair AT ALL! From now on, we will save the animal fur/hair for petting only.
